T-Mobile Gains Subscribers Again

T-Mobile USA now has 31.5 million customers, meaning that the carrier has added 668,000 net new customers during the second quarter, according to Fox Business. That means that over the past year, T-Mobile has added more than four million customers to its roster, which compares favorably with Sprint, who has lost almost the same number of customers over the same period of time.

In a company statement, Robert Dotson, President and CEO of T-Mobile USA, credited the increase to the carrier’s Unlimited Family Plan and its new @Home VoIP service, which mends (more or less) seamlessly with some of the company’s handsets. Word on the street is that the carrier is still set to finally launch a 3G network come October 1st, in 27 markets.
