Hi ThinkMobile readers - all the great mobile apps, devices and reviews are now a part of mediabistro's SocialTimes.com. Thanks for reading!

According to a new Mobile Entertainment report, T-Mobile said that social networking sites are driving up use of their data services in the UK.

Some of the top sites visited are Bebo, Facebook, and MySpace, and overall, eight of the top 20 sites visited from T-Mobile cellphones in the UK are of the social-networking variety. As a result, T-Mobile is now predicting that they’ll have one million users of their European “Web ‘n’ Walk” mobile data service by the end of this year.

Over here, T-Mobile has the slowest data network in the US; it’s the only one of the four major carriers to lack a high-speed 3G option. The company makes up for it by bundling unlimited access to T-Mobile Hotspots, where you can sign on with WiFi at Starbucks and other locales and surf at much faster speeds.
