The UK’s Guardian newspaper is launching a mobile site in March. The mobile version of Guardian.co.uk will have a similar look and feel of the online version, but will be optimized for mobile devices, Brand Republic reports. Plans include iPhone- and BlackBerry-specific versions of the site as well.

So far, the company has forged distribution deals with Vodafone and 3. It’s working to secure distribution with the other major UK carriers.
