Social Marketing Experts Push for Analytics on Google+, Pinterest

Social marketing professionals are increasingly pushing the social networks Google+ and Pinterest to introduce analytics. The British agency Punch today issued a public call for Google+ to offer analytics packages. Seattle-based Portent Interactive has also said that analytics are a mandatory next step for Pinterest as it makes its service more hospitable for businesses.

FT Press Brings 200 eBooks To iBookstore

FT Press, an imprint of Pearson, has partnered with Apple to bring eBooks to the iBookstore. While this partnership is not as exciting as Apple’s partnership with Apple Corps announced earlier today, it does make more than 200 FT titles available through Apple’s iBookstore, with more to follow.

Titles already in the iBookstore include: Doing Both by Inder Sidhu; The Fortune at the Bottom of the Pyramid by C.K. Prahalad; and Outsmart! by Jim Champy.

FT Press books include how-tos about business, investing, personal finance, human resources, management, marketing and social media.  Authors include: Jim Champy, C.K. Prahalad, Inder Sidhu, Brian Solis, Mark Zandi, Farnoosh Torabi, Liz Pulliam Weston, and Michael Covel.
