Move over Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber—social media is buzzing about some new celebrities this year! New data from social media monitoring platform Fizziology reveals the ten celebs that have seen the biggest increase in social media chatter this year. Some of the names may surprise you!

OpenSky has grown since the change without any marketing efforts. In a time space of a few weeks or more, the site holds 200,000 members and one million unique visitors. Those members have created 800,000 connections; they follow on average 4 curators each. Tailoring 50 notable curators instead of 5,000 bloggers, the site is selling hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of product each week.

Though, I am not too excited about Spear’s comment. I do know that she has a huge fan base. With her Tumblr page in full force, it appears the microblogging platform is having its heyday with some moments of fame. I am beginning to wonder if the platform is about to get flooded with a bunch of new celebrity accounts.
