LivingSocial, the creators of the LivingSocial Deals program that lets people invite others to deals to save more and more, have expanded their operation to London, UK and are opening an office across the pond as well. LivingSocial is to start providing local deals to as many cities as possible, as they are already in 27 cities around the world and growing, and they plan to hit Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool this year.
D.C.-based LivingSocial has raided $25 million in a series B round, with an emphasis on their LivingSocial Deals product as a continued source of revenue growth. The round was led by U.S. Venture Partners, with Grotech Ventures and Steve Case’s Revolution, LLC participating as well. The company is also announcing the expansion of LivingSocial Deals into four more cities: Chicago, Denver, Raleigh Durham, and San Diego.
