YouTube has just undergone a pretty major overhaul of their design, but it looks like they aren’t done yet. Amit Agarwal of Digital Inspiration reports that the online video giant has got a new player in the works and it’s going to be a pretty major change, complete with thumbnail previews and auto-generated storyboards.

If you’ve headed over to StumbleUpon this morning then you may have noticed that it looks a little different. They’ve traded in the old blue and green logo for a sleek new orange one and that’s only the beginning.
A little over a week ago we reported that YouTube was testing a revamped design. Today they’ve made the new design official, and they’ve launched a video to show off the new features. According to the YouTube blog, “this new design [is] focused on helping you discover a broader range of entertainment on YouTube.”
It looks like YouTube is testing out a brand new site design, complete with a revamped homepage, a brand new page called YouTube Guide, Google Plus and Facebook integration and more.

Back in July YouTube launched Cosmic Panda, a new experimental redesign of the site with a simplified, sleeker look. Now they’ve taken their redesign mobile. Check it out after the jump.
Earlier today, YouTube announced “a new experimental experience for videos, playlists and channels.” It’s called Cosmic Panda and there’s no denying the fact that it fits perfectly into the whole Google+, Google redesigned branding experience.
Over the past year or so, YouTube has made a number of changes to their video player. In April 2010, they rolled out a new design, in August of last year they updated their post screen, and just weeks ago they began offering a new logoless player for embeds. Now it seems that YouTube is at it again, rolling out a brand new video player design.
