Designed specifically for consumers on the go, the mobile site allows filmgoers to browse through movies playing in their area, conduct a quick local search for movies that start within the hour by using the “Go Now” button and securely purchase tickets.

It’s Showtime for Fandango App for iPad

Fandango believes the iPad ought to be in pictures, so the Fandango App for iPad is now available free-of-charge via the iTunes App Store.

The app’s features include; “The Pulse,” a visual representation of the hottest ticket sellers, in list or map format; movie reviews and Tweets from critics and fans; map integration that displays users’ locations and assists them in finding titles, theaters, show times, and tickets; and video, photos, trailers, clips, and exclusive interviews that incorporate the Apple tablet’s HD display.

Fandango’s Bruce Budkofsky Is Upwardly Mobile at Comcast Interactive Media

Comcast Interactive Media announced the promotion of Bruce Budkofsky to senior director, national sales for mobile, social, and strategic partnerships, where he will oversee mobile sites and apps for properties including E! Online, G4tv.com, and Fandango.

Budkofsky has been with Fandango for the past five years, leading brand-building campaigns for advertisers including Visa, Sprint, Samsung, and Warner Bros. Prior to Fandango, he spent six-and-a-half years with The Weather Channel and weather.com.
