Gameloft is bringing death and mayhem to cell phones with the official mobile game for Terminator Salvation. Based on the first installment in the new Terminator trilogy, the game will launch day and date with the film, on May 22.

This latest flick stars Christian Bale as John Connor, who battles Skynet and an army of Terminators to save the human race.

“The Terminator franchise is one of the world’s most recognized brands and Gameloft is pleased to create the game that brings the excitement of the movie to your fingertips,” Gameloft SVP of publishing Gonzague de Vallois said of the new game. “The film provides an optimal environment for our new game and will capture the thrills of the sci-fi adventure for Terminator Salvation fans worldwide.”

Gameloft is licensing the rights to develop the game from Halcyon, which owns all the rights to the Terminator franchise.

“NFL 2009 is packed full of team-specific strategies and spectacular offensive moves that are guaranteed to please football enthusiasts and provide them with the excitement of a live game,” teases Gameloft senior VP of publishing Gonzague de Vallois.

The game is available through most US carriers. To check availability and cost, text “QB” to 82174.
