Samsung Mobile has hired Steve Kondik aka Cyanogen, known as one of the most notorious and successful Android Hackers, for an undisclosed amount as a Software Engineer. Looks like with the heating competition in the mobile handset space Samsung has opted to hunt down talent, while others are stockpiling patents.

This is not the first time hackers, who claim to be from Anonymous, have harassed BART. Previously this week members of the group hacked into a BART website and released user names, addresses and phone numbers of more than 2,000 BART customers.
The hacker used Amazon’s Elastic Computer Cloud, also known as EC2, service to infiltrate Sony’s online entertainment systems last month. EC2 is fairly cheap, 3 cents to $2.48 on the east coast. The hack had to be performed by a person with knowledge of the matter. The intruder used a fake name in order to set up an account.
