Are you a Facebook-ian? Or a Twitter-ite? Maybe you’re a mix between a Youtube-ian and Friendster-ese. Trying to locate yourself on the 2010 Social Networking Map is like trying to decide which topping to get at Coldstone: we’re betting you’re going to be split between quite a few. Inspired by the quirky xkcd comics, the 2010 Social Networking Map depicts today’s largest (and smallest) social networks visually, laying them out in an imaginary landscape with each roughly as large as its proportion of users. Compared to its predecessor, the Online Communities of xkcd, this map has grown, Facebook has exploded, and AOL and Windows Live have experienced the downside of global warming. Today the Cheezburger Network, the same people who brought you the ever-adorable LOL Cats and epic FAIL Blog, launched a new reality comedy video site called ‘Bag of Misfits’. The Bag of Misfits tagline, “Adventures in Street Comedy”, gives you an idea of the type of content they will be publishing – Tom Green-style, in your face, improv comedy goodness. Sounds great, right? So what’s the problem? The first few clips released by Bag of Misfits just aren’t all that hilarious. I’m gonna go out on a limb and call the Cheezburger Network’s new launch one big comedy FAIL.

From a ‘Didgeri-Don’t’ app that makes your voice sound like a didgeridoo, to an app that lets you ‘Bieber Yourself’, to a game called ‘Plants Vs.
