Sony Pictures Television (SPT) used the CTIA pre-show in Las Vegas to announce the eight new mobile games it plans to release this year. All based on its movies and TV shows, the games for cell phones and the PSP will come out at various times from May through December.
The games are:
Angels & Demons: Debuting along with the movie on May 15, the game is based on the film adaptation of the Dan Brown novel. Players will work their way through puzzles to investigate and find clues that will help them solve the mystery of “a revenge 400 years in the making.”
Ghostbusters: In this iPhone game, players become Ghostbusters to save New York from a ghostly invasion borough by borough. (June)
Q*Bert: The 80s arcade character is back in a new game for the iPhone, iPod touch and Android devices. (July)
Top Agent: A multiplayer game in which players create their own 007-type secret agent to fight against famous villains from the James Bond films as well as other players’ agents. (August)
