ESPN.com, CNN.com Multiple Award Winners

CableFax_2.24.jpgThis morning we headed over the Grand Hyatt for the CableFAX “Best of the Web Awards” breakfast. The bacon was sizzling, the coffee was hot and the awards show itself was another interesting look at how the business landscape is changing — how companies, in this case cable networks and operators, are moving from programming solely for television to creating more and more original content for the Web and mobile devices.

Before the awards were presented, CableFAX Editorial Director Seth Arenstein and Executive Editor Michael Grebb had a Q&A with JB Perrette, president of NBCU Digital Distribution. In between the awards, Arenstein and Grebb presented 23 up-and-coming cable executives with a “Digital Hot List” award.

There were 16 awards presented. ESPN.com, CNN.com and Discovery Communications took home multiple awards.

We tweeted the entire event, including all the winners. Click continued to see the list.
