Jersey Shore returns to MTV with its third-season premiere Thursday night, and foursquare has something besides a fist pump for its users who live the GTL (gym, tan, laundry) lifestyle.
Users of the location-based mobile app who check in at a gym, a tanning salon or beach, and a laundry location within one week will earn the Jersey Shore GTL badge, as long as they follow MTV on foursquare.
Angelina Pivarnick may have felt unwelcome at two different houses on MTV reality hit Jersey Shore, but social community and online store Appitalism welcomed her with open arms, announcing that she will contribute a three-part series of posts as its first celebrity guest blogger.
The Appitalism online store offers a catalog of more than 10 million apps, songs, books, games, and videos for devices including smart phones, tablets, PCs, and eReaders. Pivarnick will blog about her favorite downloads. She said:
My schedule is absolutely out of control, so I love staying connected to my friends and family on my phone. Whether I’m on Twitter or just looking for new sneaks, the first place I go is my phone.
