YouTube has introduced a logoless player so you can embed YouTube videos on your blog without any branding.

If you head over to YouTube this morning you’ll notice something different – a snazzy new logo that changed every time you refresh the page. YouTube has gotten a little arsy-fartsy with their logo today in order to remind users about their YouTube Play partnership with the Guggenheim. But whether or not users are familiar with, or even care about YouTube Play, the fresh, new logo is a pleasant surprise, much like Google surprises users from time to time with fancy, revamped logos.

Erik Bethke is a Director of Product from Zynga and during his “East Meets West” presentation at Casual Connect, he discussed how his first social game title, GoPets, was first acquired by Zynga. Erik and his team created the game in South Korea over a few years and accelerated growth with Zynga. Unfortunately, the game was cancelled in 2009 after middling performance, and Erik let us in on some of the secrets of how the game was created, how it succeeded and how it ultimately lost its traffic.
