Panasonic introduced its new VIERA Remote App for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, which is now available on the App Store. You can now watch and browse your VIERA TV with the new VIERA Remote App. It’s pretty cool because the app allows you to quickly and intuitively navigate all the tools and features on your VIERA TV including 3D settings, SD card access and VIERA Connect over Wi-Fi by simply activating the function within your Viera TV’s menu.
The 2011 line of VIERA Connect-enabled HDTV sets from Panasonic, which will debut this spring, will enable viewers who want to tear themselves away from the television and head outside to get a read on the weather, thanks to a pre-loaded application from AccuWeather.com.
The app features local forecasts in more than 30 languages; detailed hourly forecasts for the next six hours; comprehensive forecasts for the next 11 days; weather maps with Doppler radar, current and forecast conditions, and satellite images; broadcast-quality city, regional, national, and international forecast and severe weather videos; warnings for severe and disruptive weather threats; and lifestyle weather and health forecasts.
