All due respect, parents need to take the time to communicate to their children about social network’s shortcomings. They need to have some familiarity on how to use the different social networks. Using a social network essentially requires the use of your real name and identity; many people often post excessive amounts of personal data including their daily habits and locations.

More and more parents are keeping tabs on their children by using Facebook, and a recent study reports kids are becoming aware of their parent’s meddling into their social media activities. I find this statistic interesting: 11 percent of the parents surveyed use Facebook to snoop on their children.

However, it does sound a little like a commercial, but as parent who knows, saving money this summer with kids is heaven sent. Whatever happened to just going to the park for picnic and swim?
