I’m still receiving questions how to access blocked social network sites like Facebook, Myspace, Orkut or Bebo etc. Looks like school IT administrators doesn’t like social networking at all and are closing access to these sites. However there always are some things to broke the rules.

I have received several emails and comments about free web proxy sites to unblock access to several web pages like MySpace, Friendster, YouTube, Bebo etc.
The problem about blocked sites is that several schools, colleges and other institutions or offices are blocking access to popular websites because they think it is waste of time and people can do better things in that time. Maybe they are right but thats not the point – if you want to visit some website you should have possibility to do it.
