Leading Internet TV network Revision3 has just released their end-of-the-year stats for 2011 and they are pretty impressive. According to a post on the Revision3 blog, the network increased its viewership in 2011 by a whopping 359 percent, with nearly 800 million views over the course of the year.
CEO Jim Louderback talks about the success Revision3 had in 2010, what’s in store for 2011 and the Mark Cuban’s recent investment in the company.
Revision3 is taking a shot at television, making its online video content available via platforms including Google TV, Yahoo! Connected TV, Windows Media Center, AppleTV, Boxee, and Roku, either by using those various platforms’ applications or by browsing to a TV-optimized Web site.
Shows such as Tekzilla, AppJudgment, Dan 3.0, Diggnation, Destructoid, and Film Riot are searchable via name, category, featured content, and most recent episodes, and viewers can manually search for episodes or view new content.

YouTuber Dan Brown, who first achieved YouTube fame with his crazy Rubik’s Cube shenanigans, launched his own web series earlier this month, along with Revision3. In Dan 3.0, Dan is putting his life in the hands of viewers, putting out a video every day for a year and taking suggestions from fans about what he will do and how he will live his life. So far Dan 3.0 has been a hit, with Revision3 traffic doubling with the show’s launch.
