Pro Soccer Teams Trade In Names For Twitter Handles On Their Jerseys

Social networking and sports seem to be involved in a love-hate relationship, with some athletes finding themselves caught in Twitter snafus while some teams have been banned from tweeting altogether. But one football club—Mexico’s Jaguares—is fully embracing Twitter. This month they’ve done away with their traditional jerseys, replacing their names with their Twitter handles!

Passionate ‘Fans’ Force Manchester United Footballer Off Twitter

In a rare instance in the virtual world of Twitter, it is not the user that has forced himself off the medium due to an errant Tweet, but instead vehement followers that shut down an account. It was a quick but saddening experience for Darren Gibson, midfielder for English Premiere League powerhouse Manchester United, and all of 23 years old. He signed up to Twitter, surely optimistically, only to be bombarded with two hours of nonstop abuse and harassment from fans of the team. continued…

The World Cup Guide To Facebook Soccer Games: Bola, FIFA Superstars, The Winning Goal and Epic Goal

As the World Cup is just a week away, social game makers are all abuzz about which Facebook game is going to benefit the most. The first big soccer title, Bola, was initially developed by Three Melons then strategically acquired by Playdom. EA Sports and FIFA have teamed up (like usual) to bring FIFA Superstars to Facebook. Now, Fox Sports and Watercooler have entered the fray with Epic Goal. Which of these games has what it takes to win the World Cup of Facebook soccer games?

Watch Online Premier League and UEFA Champions League Football Games For Free

Searching where to watch online Premier League and UEFA Champions League games I found several interesting posts/guides of how to make it possible to see these games online for free. You can check out this nice guide of using SopCast which is one of the most popular tools to stream TV online using p2p technology.

But unfortunately using SopCast isn’t enough to watch all leagues and all your favorite sports. That’s why I searched a little bit deeper and found this site where you can find all major leagues in many different sports together with link to service which provide possibility to watch current game online for free.
