Interview: Xplana's Robert Reynolds Discusses The Educational Social Network

xplana Today marks the launch of Xplana.com, an online learning platform for students, educators and institutions. With 200,000 free learning materials – such as textbooks, course notes and lectures – in its searchable databases at launch, Xplana.com is aiming for 1 million by January first, making it the world’s largest repository of online learning material. This goal might sound ambitious in itself, but Xplana.com goes even further: it hopes to be an informal, social learning platform fully compatible with all online learning management systems. We had the chance to talk with Robert Reynolds, the Director of Design and Research at Xplana.com, about his thoughts this new educational social network on the block.
