Today marks the launch of Xplana.com, an online learning platform for students, educators and institutions. With 200,000 free learning materials – such as textbooks, course notes and lectures – in its searchable databases at launch, Xplana.com is aiming for 1 million by January first, making it the world’s largest repository of online learning material. This goal might sound ambitious in itself, but Xplana.com goes even further: it hopes to be an informal, social learning platform fully compatible with all online learning management systems.
