Over the past couple months a brand new meme has taken over YouTube (and the world!)—the hilarious ‘Sh** Girls Say’ web series has spawned a deluge of copycats. In recent weeks the tech savvy have gotten in on the fun with ‘Sh** VCs Say’, ‘Sh** Silicon Valley Says’ and now, ‘Sh** a Social Media Community Manager Says.’
Either way, it is a start for keeping managers human while going viral. I must admit without saying that an effective social media manager is both an art and a skill. Some personalities are more likely to experience success than others while managing and inspiring online writers and communities.
