Stephen King fans have a rather innovative way to enjoy the thrillmeister’s latest work – as a 25-part series of two-minute comic-book-style videos.
King’s as-yet-unpublished N depicts the tale of a psychiatrist who becomes the victim of the same deadly obsession that afflicts one of his patients. Starting on Monday, a new episode will be available for viewing through all major mobile operators as well as online through the CBS Audience Network.
The series will be offered as a free stream, but folks who want to own it can pay for a download at 99 cents for five episodes or $3.99 for the whole series.
Developed in partnership with Scribner and Simon & Schuster Digital, Marvel Entertainment and CBS Mobile, King’s N will also be included in his Just After Sunset short-story collection coming out in November and will be published as a comic book miniseries by Marvel next year.
