Babar and the Adventures of Badou to be Adapted in App Form

Babar, the King of the Elephants, is coming to an app soon. Nelvana Enterprises and the Clifford Ross Company have partnered with Cupcake Digital and are working on enhanced story apps based on Babar and the Adventures of Badou, the 2011 animated TV series that is based on the original books.

The apps will be adapted will be available this Fall in from iTunes, Amazon’s App Store, Google Play and Nook.

“The stories of Babar have been a childhood staple for so many of us. For this reason, we are incredibly excited to create enhanced story experiences so parents can continue to share these wonderful characters with their kids,” explained Susan Miller, president of Cupcake Digital in a statement. “Moreover, with these mobile technologies, we can combine valuable learning moments from the show with fun interactivity that the littlest fans of Badou and his friends will be sure to enjoy.”
