Casual games network PlayJam has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $100,000 for the world’s most portable TV games console. GameStick has been in development for a little over a year and is expected to be ready for launch in April, but they need your help to make it happen.

We recently had a chance to see Samsung’s Bada platform running on one of their LED TVs at the Casual Connect conference. We were shown the user interface for users to browse applications (the television was wired to an ethernet connection, no wireless yet) and saw a demonstration of a quick, quirky game. The word on the street these days is that while television companies thought that this would be the year of 3D TVs, Google’s announcement of Google TV has changed everything. TVs are now all about apps.
