As a matter of fact in the U.K., 1 in 10 pets have their own profile on Facebook, Twitter or YouTube. This figure is based on a study commissioned by a pet insurance company called PetPlan. The results of the study indicate that well over half of the pet owners in the U.K. are uploading and sharing videos or photos of their pet(s) on the internet.
