NBC 10 Philadelphia is setting a new standard for reporting local news.
50% iPhone Users Ignore Sync and Updates

David Chartier, a former Mac World writer, revealed that nearly 50% of the iPhone users ignore to sync their iPhones with iTunes after unboxing the phone. Call it laziness or lack of awareness of the iPhone user to keep their devices up to date, whatever it is, it shows that so many iPhone devices are on the same initial state, absent critical security updates.

Twitter Makes Changes to Apps, URL Wrapping

Over the coming weeks, Twitter will be rolling out two major updates to its service. These updates will impact how third-party applications (such as desktop applications, websites and smart phone apps) access and interact with your data, and how URLs are displayed in the necessarily restrictive 140-character space allotted for your tweets. Below the jump, details on these major updates.

Interview with Caresquare: Redesign and Expansion

Caresquare launched last year as a social site that connects child care professionals with parents. The site’s differentiating factor is it’s social approach to its system, connecting professionals and parents directly. Though Caresquare launched in the midst of several other established sites that offer similar services, Caresquare has made several changes to its site in order to become more competitive. Below is an interview with Caresquare’s Ariel Ford, who speaks on some of these changes:
