Target Aims for Mobile

target_mobile_mobilemarketer.jpgTarget has unveiled a new mobile application to help shoppers searching for gifts. The Target Gift Finder app, available for the iPhone only, lets users search for the right gift based on price, age, gender and even personality, Mobile Marketer reports.

Unlike with the retailer’s mobile Web site, users can make purchases on Target.com through the application. Target’s mobile site only allows for searching and browsing products and finding the closest store that has the desired products in stock.
