Tonight: The Switch and La Blogotheque Bring You Live, Interactive Music

Music lovers—if you don’t have any plans tonight, you may want to check out The Switch, an interactive music experience on YouTube, powered by 5 Gum, that lets you literally switch back and forth between two live music performances.  They’re calling it “live music that matches your energy.”

YouTube marketing programs manager Charles Jang explains on the YouTube blog that, “During this intimate music experience, fans can enjoy two simultaneous live-streaming performances, curated by tastemakers La Blogotheque.  Givers will bring their energetic sounds, while Theophilus London delivers relaxing grooves.  At The Switch, you can pick the music that suits your mood.”

This isn’t a one-time deal.  It looks like The Switch is going to put on interactive live video shows pretty often.  Tonight viewers are invited to switch back and forth between Givers and Theophilus London, but La Blogotheque will be curating more live playilists.  It should be a pretty fun way to experience some of your favorite bands, as well as discover new emerging artists.

Will you be tuning into The Switch tonight?
