‘The Walking Dead’ by the Numbers [Infographic]

Social media users must have zombies on the brain. “The Walking Dead,” AMC’s hit show about a zombie apocalypse, has been the most-talked-about scripted cable show for the last 8 weeks, say analysts at GetGlue.

A show’s popularity on the social network for television viewers is measured in user activities like check-ins, likes, reviews, and sticker unlocks. So far, GetGlue users have completed more than 1.5 million actions about “The Walking Dead.”

The company has released an infographic with the details on which episodes and characters are the most popular, as well as where fans are checking in and from which devices.

Topping these lists are Rick Grimes for most talked about character, California for the most popular state, and the Android for most popular device with 29 percent of the audience.

As for episodes,”Welcome to the Tombs;” drew the most check-ins for the Season 3 Finale, but “The Suicide King,” which aired mid-season on Feb. 10, got the most comments. (With 12.3 million viewers, “The Suicide King” was also the most-watched episode of the series.)
