According to a new study from mobile services firm AppTrigger, 74 percent of consumers still prefer voice service as their primary wireless communication channel even as they demand more mobile data services, FierceMobileContent reports.
50 percent of respondents said they use voice mail, 22 percent use mobile e-mail, and 26 percent send text messages. Most importantly: 57 percent said the reason they haven’t adopted more mobile data services is the additional costs they incur. The opposite is true on airplanes, incidentally.
