Thumbplay has snagged a deal to put mobile content storefronts on the Web sites of more than 650 local Clear Channel Radio stations.

radio_clipart.jpgAccording to Fierce Mobile Content, Thumbplay content will be promoted in relevant sections on the sites, such as “Just Played” and “Top 20 On Demand.” Local DJs at the various stations will also be able to post their favorite ringtones and other content through customizable widgets.

One hundred or so of these mobile content stores are already live on local Clear Channel Radio sites across the country, with the rest scheduled to launch throughout the year.
