Time Inc Embraces Mobile

golfcom_mobilemarketer.jpgTime Inc is delving deeper into the mobile world, with new iPhone apps and mobile Web sites for Golf.com and CNNMoney.com, which houses the online versions of Fortune and Money, Mobile Marketer reports.

The venerable news brand, which is still the leading magazine publisher, sees mobile as a “natural extension” for its brands, particularly at a time when print publishing is experiencing significant declines in advertising and subscription dollars.

According to the article, Time Inc has a million monthly unique visitors to the iPhone-optimized mobile sites, which includes Time.com and People.com as well as a few others.
