Top 10 Old Spice Parodies On YouTube

Old Spice Library ParodyEvery since Old Spice’s “The Man Your Man Could Smell Like” commercials hit YouTube, they’ve inspired a whole slew of spoofs, parodies and remixes. Some of the parodies are better than others, so we’ve sorted through the rubbish to bring you the top 10 Old Spice parodies on YouTube. Look at your parodies, now back to the original, now back at your parodies, now back to the original. Sadly, the parodies are not the original, but they are still worth a watch. So check them out after the jump.

New Spice | Study like a scholar, scholar

This new video parody for the Harold B. Lee Library hit YouTube just four days ago and already has over 1 million views. This video, which was the inspiration for this Top 10 list, is a work of absolute genius. A library is probably the last think that comes to most people’s minds when they think about the Isaiah Mustafa Old Spice ads, but it works and it is spreading almost as quickly as the original Old Spice ads themselves. Anything is possible when you’re in the library.

The Sausage Your Sausage Could Taste Like

I’m at a loss as to why this video only has 40,000 views so far. This is, perhaps, one of the most ridiculously funny Old Spice parodies out there. I mean, come on – Who wouldn’t be entertained by a sausage on a goat?

The Dish: Old Spice Spoof

Danielle Fishel (AKA Topanga, for you TGIF kids) of The Dish created one of the most chuckle-inducing Old Spice Spoof commercials on her show, with Isaiah Mustafa in tow. Check it out below and prepare to ROFL.

Old Spice Body Wash Baby Parody

Ricky of HD Post Production made this silly baby Old Spice parody as a means of promoting his website. I think this clip really demonstrates how borrowing from already successful campaigns is a great way to promote yourself. This baby is too cute, though I don’t even want to think about someone putting Old Spice on a baby!

Old Spice The Boy Your Man Could Smell Like

This following video is one of the most popular Old Spice parodies on YouTube, with over 394,000 views. In the clip, an 11-year old boy reenacts the Man Your Man Could Smell Like commercial, and he does a pretty good job of it. Kudos to you kid, you could be the next Isaiah Mustafa.

Caron Butler Mavs Musk Parody

Caron Butler of the Dallas Mavericks spoofed the Old Spice commercial in a video spot to promote the playoffs. Butler’s head is composited onto Isaiah Mustafa’s head in the original clip, Old Spice is replaced with “Mavericks Musk” and the “tickets to that thing you love” are replaced with Mavs playoffs tickets.

Mike Relm Remixes Old Spice

A fantastic Old Spice remix was released a few days ago by Mike Relm, who is new to YouTube. The video has over 227,000 views on Mike’s channel, 355,000 views on barelypolitical, where it was also uploaded, and has also received shout-outs from iJustine, Philip DeFranco and Mysteryguitarman.

Old Spice | REMIX – “I’m On A Horse”

Here’s another Old Spice remix for all you dancing queens out there. This remix, created by Tobuscus on YouTube, has been viewed over 315,000 times since it was uploaded at the end of March. Which remix do you like better? This one, or Mike Relm’s remix above?

I’m On A Horse Old Spice Remix Spoof Music Video

Don’t stop dancing just yet – here’s another Old Spice song for you to shake your booty too. The Beat Bumz on YouTube took the words to the Old Spice commercial, headed into the studio to record it to their own music, and shot a silly music video to go along with it. Check out the video below.

Old Spice Commercial Spoof – Curry Powder

Um, I’m not really sure what to say about this one. Anything’s possible when your man smells like curry powder. But who the heck is Bubbie?
