Website analytics company Quantcast has created a tool called Quantcast Measure for Apps that allows publishers to track engagement with their apps.
The tool tracks app visits, which devices customers are using to visit their apps, return usage and the amount of time a consumer is spending with an app. The tool also lets publishers track app engagement alongside website engagement, so that a publisher can see if a consumer is visiting their site online, on a mobile device or the app, or all of the above. Topix, Goodreads, and Big Oven are already using the platform.
