Truphone (Voice over IP) for BlackBerry Beta Available

Truphone is one of several VoIP (Voice over IP) apps available for multiple mobile platforms (Skype and Fring being two of the other widely used mobile VoIP apps). Truphone also has versions available for the T-Mobile G1, iPod touch, iPhone and Nokia smartphones.

FYI: Truphone for BlackBerry has one big advantage over the iPhone version. BlackBerry users can make VoIP calls over a 3G wireless connection. iPhone users (as well as iPod touch users) can only make VoIP calls when using WiFi.
