No! To be honest please digg this – it still brings more traffic to the site than twitter.

Other than huge number of eyeballs Twitter brings news faster, maybe this is the reason why slowly Twitter becomes my number one source of information. I feel that Digg is loosing it’s position as “breaking news” source. Twitter is just faster! And it also becomes irrelevant because of the “power-user” / “power-sites” bull***t – seams that Digg is slowly loosing the game.

tweetmeme

So I discovered this Tweetmeme site – it’s just like Digg but instead of actual voting, every retweet of the article counts as vote. It creates list of most popular stories just like on Digg and in my eyes such system is more natural.

If you are blogger you may want to add retweet buttons to your site – it allows users to quickly tweet your articles and it can bring you pretty good traffic too – it will not be huge as if you hit Digg homepage, but still it’s pretty solid.
