Twitter Looks to Expand Executive Team

Twitter co-founder Biz Stone sent out a community-wide e-mail looking for some “Twitter-ers” to join its executive team, MediaPost reports.

“We’re hoping to hire for a bunch of new positions,” Stone said in the email. “We’ve been really busy behind the scenes these days at Twitter HQ… Things are moving as fast as ever, and we’re growing six ways from Sunday.”

The report highlighed how the move comes at a time when other Web media and technology companies are scaling back and announcing layoffs. Twitter has certainly soared in popularity in recent months, despite its ongoing lack of a way to make actual money.
