USA Today has announced that their paper will be available for purchase and download on Amazon’s Kindle. The Kindle version of USA Today will be published daily (although USA Today only publishes on weekdays, so we’re assuming Saturday and Sunday are not included), and costs $11.99 a month to subscribe.
Other newspapers available on the Kindle include The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post. Looking at the list of newspapers available on the Kindle, it looks as if USA Today is priced higher than the typical paper, with $9.99 monthly the typical price.
If you want a Kindle tomorrow, too bad; Amazon is out of stock and won’t have more for 8-10 weeks, according to their site.
