Yidio used NewTeeVee Live in San Francisco to publicly debut the third version of what it calls a combination social entertainment network and video search engine.
New features on Yidio include its Discovery Engine, which recommends video content based on users’ interactions on the site, such as Like, Favorite and Discuss. Its Episode Guide organizes results by specific show or network and creates personalized schedules. And its Social Entertainment Network spurs interaction between Yidio users and easy sharing to Facebook and Twitter.
Yidio co-founder and CEO Brandon Eatros said:
Nobody wants, or has the time, to keep track of hundreds of places to find their favorite TV show online. By organizing the fragmented world of online entertainment with our easy-to-use episode guides and proprietary discovery engine, we’ve built a platform that serves up the content users want, in seconds.
