Ustream, a live video streaming site, has released an iPhone application that lets users watch live video from Ustream; assuming the wireless networks in DC hold up to the massive amount of usage for the inauguration, that means it would be possible for Ustream broadcasters to stream video from DC, while users could watch on their iPhones. Or, if that’s not your bag, you can watch the Puppy Cam.
The application has some social features that let users share content with friends. One thing the application does not do, is to let users stream video from their iPhones. Apple has not allowed applications which stream video from the phone to be included in the App Store.
