Looking for a job? Here’s a way to really write about what you know. FINS.com, the new career hub in the Wall Street Journal Digital Network, is on the hunt for a managing editor who can oversee the daily production of the site.
If hired, you’ll drive the editorial direction of FINS, focusing on finance, technology, sales and marketing. You’ll also establish workflow, manage a team of reporters and editors and be the liaison to the editorial teams at WSJ, Barrons, MarketWatch and other Dow Jones and Newscorp divisions. The site is looking for someone with a true understanding of what its readers want, so draw inspiration and insight from your own job search and experiences to really wow them.
To be considered, you must have at least four years of supervisory editorial experience, and a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop young journalists. A background in careers, finance or technology is strongly preferred, and the ability to analyze traffic and user trends is a major plus. Interested? Apply here.
