Tech Rumor of the Day: Verizon Netbooks (TheStreet.com)
…is a fact today…
Verizon Confirms Plans to Sell Netbooks (InternetNews.com)
However, I don’t see much of a reason to buy a $99 netbook tied to a two-year contract when you can get a contract free netbook for $350 these days. Yes, it is more convenient to have a built-in 3G wireless modem (vs. a USB device sticking out of the netbook). But, with netbook technology changing to rapiding and available at such low prices, it may make more sense to buy the netbook separate from the 3G data plan. This, of course, is just IMHO.
