PhoneArena notes that Verizon will release a product in the intersting device category of personal 3G-to-WiFi hotspot routers…
Verizon’s MiFi 2200 is your own personal Hotspot
The device is an EVDO 3G wireless data router that takes 3G data stream and routes it to your computer either or a USB cable or WiFi. In theory, you should be able to share the 3G data to multiple WiFi enabled computers. However, it remains to be seen what kind of customer usage policy Verizon will impose on service through the MiFi.
The Novatel website notes that the product is set to ship by midyear and priced at $200+. You can see in the video the MiFi device is quote small and easy to carry.
