FierceMobileContent is reporting that Verizon Wireless announced a deal with R&B bombshell Beyoncé to debut exclusive content from the singer’s new solo album I Am … Sasha Fierce ahead of its scheduled release next week. The carrier said in a statement that on Friday, they’ll launch full-track downloads of select Beyoncé tracks including “Halo,” “Satellites,” “Broken-Hearted Girl,” “Ave Maria,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Video Phone” along with the first new single, “If I Were a Boy.”
Here’s the interesting part: according to VZW, Beyoncé will be the first artist to “take over” its V Cast Music handset store, with the mobile storefront spotlighting her favorite albums, songs, playlists and related material from Nov. 14 through Nov. 18, the report said. “The carrier will also send video MMS messages with a personalized greeting from Beyoncé directly to select subscribers, enabling them to be the first to download and purchase the exclusive mobile content.”
