Video Reactions: The Next Trend in Video Messaging Apps?

Anonymous messaging apps have been fairly popular, but it appears that a new trend may be arriving. Yesterday, we saw the release of two new video messaging apps, Samba and Chatwala, that offer the same thing – video messages that records the reactions of their recipients.

Both apps will let you record a video message for a recipient. Once the recipient accepts the message, the app records their reaction and send it back to you as a synchronized video. We think Samba comes with a better visual design that borrows from Facebook’s chat heads, but Chatwala is available for both Android and iOS, making it more broadly available.
