Hi ThinkMobile readers - all the great mobile apps, devices and reviews are now a part of mediabistro's SocialTimes.com. Thanks for reading!

bolt_phone.jpgBitstream is crowing that its BOLT mobile Web browser has served more than 15 million page views worldwide since the browser launched into beta four weeks ago. BOLT already claims some 300,000 users, many of whom are taking advantage of the product’s video streaming feature. Roughly a third of the bandwidth used by all BOLT users was consumed by streaming video.

According to the company, BOLT is the only mobile browser that lets users stream videos from YouTube, Yahoo Videos, Blip.TV, Metacafe and other sites on average mobile phones.

Some other features in the public beta version of BOLT include desktop-style browsing on both high- and low-end handsets, split-screen and full-screen modes, favorites, intuitive keystroke shortcuts, protection against spyware and other nasty critters and lower battery consumption and data usage than competing browsers.

The free browser can be downloaded from http://boltbrowser.com.
