Vine-1-1 Parody App for Simultaneous 911 Calls While Recording Emergencies

Parodies come in all shapes and sizes. Now, they’re in the form of app concepts. This one mocks the nature of recording real life emergencies rather than acting on those emergencies – like calling 911 or making a vine of a truck jump a highway guardrail. While this app isn’t real, it brings our attention to the strange and peculiar age of mobile journalism, where everyone is expected to show and share, rather than act and care.

The app’s main screen capture is based on areal Vine – a short video of a truck going over a highway guardrail. What do you think? do we need an app that lets us do both or are Vine-making too harmless to bother?
