The company behind Facebook’s expansion of its inventory of virtual goods in the Facebook Gift Shop into officially licensed National Basketball Association, Major League Soccer and college themes is Virtual Greats, Inside Facebook reported.
Virtual Greats got its start by focusing on celebrities including Justin Timberlake, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and Paris Hilton, according to Inside Facebook, and it has since secured rights for entertainment brands like The Hulk and Street Fighter.
