Wal-Mart Music is back—with a vengeance? That might be pushing it, but Wal-mart just relaunched its new and improved MP3 Music Downloads store, with select MP3 tracks starting at just 74-cents this time around.

The company has been selling DRM-free MP3 tracks since February 2008 and currently has about 3 million in their catalog, or about half the size of Rhapsody and Amazon MP3′s offerings.

Wal-Mart said in a statement that the enhanced MP3 online store is supported by multiple elements in Wal-mart stores, including a free MP3 download with every CD purchased in stores or online (www.walmart.com/music). The company is also offering a free MP3 “track of the week” to help customers discover up-and-coming new artists as well as music from established musicians.
